From the City of Love to the City that Never Sleeps

This past week and a half has been a whirlwind of activity. From the moment, Michael and Natalie arrived on the third until we woke up in New York today we haven’t had a moment’s rest…and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

We spent a lot of last week touring the city and doing all the touristy stuff, we left for the end. We went to the top of the Eiffel tower (1000 feet high) hung out with the gargoyles at the top of Notre Dam and saw the beautiful Versailles Palace and its Hall of Mirrors in person, though I found the enormous grounds to be the best part. We took a tour along the river Seine and got to see the rain pouring against the side of the boat before clearing and giving us a wonderful view of the city. David and I managed to get some alone time though and headed to an amazing archeological museum and a castle north of France where one of my favorite TV shows was filmed!

This trip has been an incredible and exhausting journey and I cannot believe it is already ending. I had an amazing time touring all of the cities in Europe and even in Israel but I think the best part was being able to see my family and meeting all of David’s, the trip really wouldn’t have been the same without them. Unfortunately, this makes for one very homesick blogger, so it is a good thing I am in New York with my cousins!

It’s gloomy here in the city, the skyscrapers are disappearing into the fog, but David and I are excited nonetheless to get our tourist on in The City that Never Sleeps!
